FOR YOUR SAFETY
Thank you for selecting our chapter and our Summer Camp. We are so excited for your attendance!
Our chapter would like to address matters related to participant and volunteer expectations. We wish to be transparent about our policies to provide a safe and fun environment for all participants, and also protect our youth leaders. These expectations apply to both members of our local chapter and members of visiting chapters:
The participant or volunteer strives to be a good Christian through their actions and statements.
The participant or volunteer participates with spirit and love.
The participant or volunteer displays good sportsmanship in their successes and losses.
The participant or volunteer upholds the rules and expectations of the camp.
The participant or volunteer personally cares for their physical, mental, and spiritual health.
Please understand that these expectations only cover a general portion of our chapter’s expectations, and that the specific rules and expectations will be covered during our camp. Our chapter will work to uphold these expectations as well.
Our chapter will dismiss a participant or volunteer based on these reasons:
The participant or volunteer has been deemed extremely disruptive, dangerous, or detrimental to camp morale.
The participant or youth leader chooses not to participate in the camp.
The participant or volunteer blatantly violates camp rules and expectations.
The participant or volunteer is not in a healthy condition, and needs medical attention.
When met with conflict, our chapter does not wish to escalate any situation or endanger participants or volunteers. We will take necessary action, and contact parents in the event their student needs to be dismissed. Thank you for your understanding and willingness to follow our instructions!
